Nagasaki beslaat de route 212 km. Vanaf Kuchinotsukou (口之津港) in het zuiden van het Shimabara-schiereiland loopt de route hier onder meer via het spa-resort Unzen, de sfeervolle stad Nagasaki en het Nishi-Sonogi schiereiland in noordelijke richting om daar via Saikaibrug de indrukwekkende draaikolken in het Hario-kanaal, de verbinding tussen Omura-baai en de open zee, over te steken. De route verloopt daarna vrij vlak tot er vlak voor de grens met de prefectuur Saga een aantal kleinere bergen moeten worden bedwongen. Voor de prefectuur Nagasaki eindigt de route bij de Kurinoki pas (栗の木峠） en Kunimiyama (国見山). In de prefectuur Nagasaki maak je kennis met maar liefst zeven natuurparken op de route.Within Nagasaki prefecture the trail covers 212 km. Starting at Kuchinotsukou (口之津港) located at the southern tip of the Shimabara peninsula the trail winds its way over mountains and through valleys, passes the beautiful surroundings of the Unzen spa resort, the attractive city of Nagasaki, to move on in northern direction over the Nishi- Sonogi peninsula towards Saikai bridge. Here at the point where Omura Bay and the sea are connected amazing whirlpools can be seen while crossing Saikai Bridge. After passing the bridge the trail lacks big ups and downs until you reach the smaller mountains near the border with Saga prefecture. The Nagasaki chapter of the trail ends at the Kurinoki pass (栗の木峠) and Kunimiyama (国見山). While walking the trail you see as much as 7 nature parks in the prefecture of Nagasaki.
